Sentinel by Aileronics is camera-based visual traffic on your iPad — referenced to the horizon — plus portable ADS-B–class features. Two pieces: a camera on a windshield suction mount, cabled to a separate ADS-B receiver box — built to replace a portable weather-brick receiver, not sit next to one.
The problem
ADS-B can’t show you everything.
ADS-B traffic is cooperative. An In-only picture can be incomplete. Traffic displays supplement your outside-the-window scan — see-and-avoid still rules. A cyan triangle or callout is not the same as seeing traffic against the horizon.
Tools supplement the scan. They don’t replace it. FAA guidance frames traffic displays as support for outside-the-window scanning. Cooperative In-only traffic can miss aircraft that aren’t part of that picture. Sentinel is built for that reality: a portable visual layer on your EFB, together with ADS-B–class features — without claiming the sky is fully covered.

Sentinel’s camera mounts on the windshield and, with its separate ADS-B receiver box, shows visual traffic on your EFB / iPad — and on supported Dynon and Garmin panel displays — referenced to the visual horizon, not a cyan triangle or ATC callout alone, with portable ADS-B–class features in the same two-piece system.
